John Mayall

*29.11.1933 (Macclesfield, Cheshire, UK) – †22.7.2024 (USA), britský hudebník a skladatel, výrazná osobnost „bílého blues“. V 60. letech založil hudební skupinu John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, ve které působili špičkoví hudebníci a se kterou vydal řadu pozoruhodných nahrávek. Koncem 60. let se přestěhoval do USA a začátkem 70. let se zde usadil natrvalo. V roce 2005 obdržel Řád britského impéria (OBE).
